Blog Your Business #2 - Conversation

.
Blog Your Business #2 - Your Blog "Conversation"
.

Since I don't yet know your experience level (or your interest level,) I'll cover both basic and advanced corporate and business blog strategies and tactics in this "Blog Your Business" Blog.

(So create a shortcut for this Business and Corporate Blog on your desktop.) ... :-) ...

The first thing to consider is ... basic ... it's your blog "conversation."

Is your corporate or business blog going to be a monologue or dialogue?

There is cerainly some safety in having a monologue ... but one of the major benefits in having your corporate or business blog is that a dialogue is far more valuable (but more risky) to you ...

So - other than (obviously) having something you want to say (blog) ... you have to first decide if you want to talk with or to your customers and other people (including perhaps disgruntled customers or even your own competiton.)

So - YES - you absolutely should have a blog. No exceptions. There is not a single business that would not benefit from having its own business or corporate blog. That's "a given." Whether your business involves products, services, consulting, authorship - does NOT matter ...

BUT - like every other aspect of your business, your corporate or business blog needs to be a planned and integrated part of your overall business and marketing philosophy.

You'll be glad you gave these blog tactics and strategies the attention they (and you) deserve.

Stay tuned ... more business and corporate blog tactics and strategies are coming your way!

.
Blog Your Business #1 - An Introduction
.

Welcome to your "Blog Your Business" blog.

I currently have 16 blogs. (Yes - you read that right.)

Ten are business blogs. Six are personal blogs.

All of my blogs have a specific message and target market. (Not all of them are active, and some were a fixed, finite length ... and I have not yet postioned the others.)

There are real, tangible, immense benefits connected to having your own blog(s.)

This "Blog Your Business" blog will only focus on business blogs.

I have a free pdf on "setting up and hosting your own free blog in three minutes or less." If you want a free copy, just shoot me an email ...

More soon.
